Plowing and snow removal
Commercial snow removal at Executive covers plowing of parking lots, drive lanes, and access roads; clearing of loading areas and emergency routes; and relocation of accumulated snow to designated on-site stockpile areas so parking and sightlines stay usable through a long winter. Crews are assigned to specific properties so the same team learns the site, its hazards, and its priorities.
Parking lots and sidewalks
Pedestrian safety drives the plan. Sidewalks, entrances, ADA routes, stairways, and walkways between buildings and parking are cleared and treated as priority zones, with attention to the transitions where people step from a lot onto a walk. Parking areas are plowed in a sequence that keeps entrances, fire lanes, and loading docks open first.
Salting and de-icing
Ice management is planned, not improvised. Depending on the property and the forecast, that includes pre-treatment ahead of a storm, de-icing of lots and walks during and after the event, and refreeze checks when temperatures drop overnight. We select materials appropriate to the surfaces and plantings on the property so hardscape and landscape are protected.
Pre-season plan
Before the first storm, we walk the property with you to map priority zones, stockpile locations, obstacles, curbs, and drainage; set trigger depths and the sequence of response; and stage equipment and de-icing materials for the site. That plan becomes the written scope the crews work from all winter.
Communication and documentation
During and after each event, crews document conditions and the work performed at each site, giving property managers a clear, defensible record. Your account contact keeps you informed on approaching storms, response status, and any site issues that need attention.
Coverage
Snow and ice management is available to commercial properties throughout Connecticut and across Westchester County, New York. Our Snow and Ice Command page explains the operating process behind every winter program in more detail.
Contract questions
How are snow contracts structured?
Programs are scoped per property and typically run as seasonal commercial agreements, often combined with the growing-season landscape program under one contract. Pricing structure is agreed in the proposal so there are no surprises mid-season.
What decides when crews respond?
The pre-season plan sets trigger depths and response sequence for your property. Crews are dispatched according to that plan and the forecast, with priority zones cleared first.
Do you handle ice between storms?
Yes. Refreeze checks and spot de-icing between events are part of a managed program, because most winter slip hazards come from melt and refreeze rather than the storm itself.
